About Us

Playing In The Dunes Since The Late ’60s

We’ve been playing in the dunes since the late 60’s and racing in the desert since the early 70’s. With decades of off-road racing and recreational experience, we’re confident we have the knowledge and expertise to get the most performance out of your transaxle.

Joe Giffin and JG Transwerks transaxles have scored hundreds of victories and dozens of class championships in every major race and organization in the off-road racing spectrum. From the desert wilds of Baja, Nevada, California and Arizona, to short-course tracks like Glen Helen, Saddleback Park, Riverside, Mickey Thompson stadium events, and CORR series events — we know where the victory circle is located.
